There is no denying the importance of using social media in any sized business. Yet I’m constantly surprised at the number of small businesses that make no attempt to use these new tools to build their brand and engage with their customers. When I talk to a client or friend who isn’t using social media it’s always the same story. They say something like, “I don’t know anything about that kind of stuff” or “I don’t even have a Facebook account”.

For clients I have a long (and ever growing) list of tools, tips and guides to help their small business get involved in different areas of social media. The following are some of my more basic but also extremely crucial trips for those just learning about social media and doing business online.
